Cédric Hanriot is a French pianist, band leader, music composer, arranger, sound designer, music producer and educator who has worked for Grammy Award winning projects.

 

He plays the piano, Fender Rhodes, keyboards, synthesizers, digital audio workstation synthesizers, organ Hammond B3, clavinet, vocoder, and executes real-time audio processing using laptop.

 

Cédric is especially known for his work in the fields of jazz, jazz fusion, hip hop, funk, latin jazz, electronic and pop.

 

In 2015, he had worked on the Grammy winning album “Beautiful Life” by Dianne Reeves, alongside George Duke, Robert Glasper and Esperanza Spalding. Over the past 15 years have also collaborated with many internationally-known jazz artists such as Herbie Hancock, Terri Lyne Carrington, John Patitucci and Donny McCaslin.

The jazz trio that interprets the French song book. Cédric Hanriot revisits a number of popular French songs (Brel, Piaf, Delpech, Nougaro) and rebuilt them in the jazz piano trio context whilst preserving the essence of each song.
